Our Style and Process

My photography is, first and foremost, Genuine. There are so many moments that may sneak by us, but their significance is real. The quiet moment between a mom and daughter before the walk down the aisle, the nervous smile shared between the groom and best man, and the huge hug the groom encircles his bride with at the end of the processional. These are the moments that I want you to remember.

My photography style is Laid-Back and Relaxed. Comfortable clients=natural pictures. We strive to maintain an environment that you actually want to be a part of. We want you to walk away from your engagement session and wedding day and turn to each other and say, "wow, we had a great time with them." We won't make you do silly, ridiculous things, but we will make sure that we have lots of laughs and take on any necessary adventures so that we all can have a great time.

Initial Meeting and Booking

Once you have looked over our website, please contact us to see if we have your date available. If we do, then we'll schedule a meeting to sit down (or phone chat) to get to know each other, go over any questions you might have, and look over an example Agreement. There is absolutely no pressure to book us during the meeting, and rather, I encourage you to take a couple of days to think it over.

Once you know that I am the photographer that you would like to invite into your day,  I will email you a custom Agreement. The signed Agreement and the $500 booking fee secure your date.

Custom Timeline Creation

This is one of my favorite parts! We meet again to discuss everything about your day. We talk about all event times, plan family photo groupings, talk about images that are important to you to have captured, and ensure that everything is set to have a smooth day.

Engagement Session

The engagement session is a great time for all of us to get comfortable with each other. The session lasts for about an hour and all the resulting images are yours to keep.
